LOVE & MERCY presents an unconventional portrait of Brian Wilson, the mercurial singer, songwriter and leader of The Beach Boys. Starring John Cusack, Elizabeth Banks, Paul Giamatti, and Paul Dano, the cast is quite impressive and gives strong performances. Michał Sopoćko (Sr. Faustina’s confessor), and, while browsing forgotten archives, they found additional previously unknown documents.
Dano and Cusack are fantastic in duo roles and Elizabeth Banks has never been better as WIlson's girlfriend and eventual wife. It's okay but it's very clean, and certainly not the tale of a survivor that it hints that it might be. | Rating: 3/5 Faustina: Love and Mercy will be at select Regal theatres on October 5th only. To a large extent, “Love and Mercy: Faustina” can contribute to fulfilling Jesus’ promise that “the spark that will prepare the world for My final coming” will come from Poland (Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, 1732).“For me that movie is just like ‘The Passion of the Christ.’ It was the second time in our life when we were going out of the cinema in silence. Scientific analysis included in the film indicates that Sr. Faustina indeed saw the Lord Jesus. What I experienced while filming “Love and Mercy” confirms my belief that God will take care of the completion of this important production.
