On Saturday, September 2nd, Ningbo Rotary Club celebrated becoming an official charter with a party at the Westin Hotel. Members from Rotary Clubs throughout China joined the event along with Ningbo Rotary Club members and their guests. The party began with cocktails and a performance of the Lion Dance. Once guests were seated, the Ningbo Rotary Club members received their pins, honorary members gave speeches, replica watches and Ningbo Rotary Club members sang and danced the official song for the audience. There was also a special performance by a Tai Chi master. Afterwards, guests were treated to a huge buffet and wine provided by our sponsor. It was a great night had by all!
